In-House Laboratory

In House Laboratory

In-house laboratory equipment is used to give results in minutes to allow the internal medicine doctor make more informed analysis on a pet’s current condition. Blood chemistry panels can be performed to analyze how the organs are functioning. Complete blood counts can provide information about the amount of platelets, red blood cells, and white blood cells. Information about blood cells can indicate if a certain treatment is successful or detrimental, or can indicate if a certain type of cancer is likely. Urine can be analyzed for blood, proteins, or irregular cells which could be an indicator of cancer.
